Adesuwa is an NYC based Jazz/Afro-pop singer . Growing up between America and Benin City , Nigeria , Adesuwa experienced a diverse musical upbringing spanning from Nigerian Cultural music and Afrobeat American Gospel and Jazz. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music (Jazz Studies) from Long Island University – Brooklyn Campus, Adesuwa presently lives in NYC and works with various jazz and world music groups. This young singer on the rise has found a home in her music which is a seamless blend of Afropop, Jazz and Adesuwa. Debut studio album is expected in Spring 2010!
