"The Buzz Tri-Cities"

Let me just say that i was actually dissappointed. I dont mean any disrespect to Pale Orchid but I was so deeply dissappointed. I heard so many good things abot this band and I was let down. THe first song was so tight that I thought I was in for a great night. That quickly went down the drain with the sloppy Dizzy song. It was offbeat and really loose. Whether they needed more practice or whatever I and the 2 other people that were with me were almost at the point they were going to leave. They butchered Beastie Boys not once but twice in a row. Im so sorry that I had two other people be there with me for this show.

Things looked up when Adire stormed on the stage, I have heard addicted due to the publicity from Riverfest but I had no idea they were this good. The last band I saw that was this tight on stage from this area would be 10 Years. I stated back then 10 years would be signed soon and I believe we have our next band that will be signed to a major label from this area in Adire. I just wish Ansley would adjust the schedule at riverfest to allow a better time slot for this great band. Adire covered Rages' Killing In the Name Of so masterfully that if I had never heard the song before I would think they wrote it. Then they attempted Chevelles Send the Pain Below. After some practice I think they could take the place of Blindsights' rendetion of Dr Feelgood as my all-time favorite cover. Im anxious to see if pale Orchid was just having an off night or if they really need more practice at next weeks Riverfest. I know Adire will be one of the talked about performances of Riverfest. - Ballerstv
