Bio

Adolph started his singing career at the age of 11, when he began taking vocal lessons in Chicago, Illinois, his hometown. Two months later he was performing at the Civic Opera House with the Lyric Opera of Chicago Children’s Chorus. During the next few years Adolph continued his vocal training and operatic performances while delving into musical theater and TV acting gigs.

At 16 years of age, Adolph became a member of Good Vibes, a young adult prevention & education performance troop that was founded and directed by Broadway star Ben Vereen. Adolph spent over two years touring and performing with this troupe, which made him a triple threat as it was a requirement that every member of the troupe sing, act, dance and be able to perform any role within the show. While working with this troupe, Adolph continued his vocal training, performing in various musicals, TV pilots and commercials.

Additionally, while balancing all of his other activities, he was one of two baritones selected by NARAS/Grammy.org (National Recording Academy of Arts and Sciences,) out of thousands of other auditioners throughout the United States, to be a part of their Grammy in the Schools program, where he was sent to Hollywood to attend the Grammys, perform at Disneyland and various venues, cut a Jazz album with the other members of the program, work with artists such as Carlos Santana, Monica and John Secada. After a hiatus of school and work, Adolph is now residing in Los Angeles, California.

While he manages to fall into TV acting gigs from time to time, Adolph is currently pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter. What genre do you ask? This time it’s Soul music or as some like to call it, “Neo-Soul”. He’s at a point in his life where he no longer wants to express himself creatively through the work of other people as he is now open and willing to let you join in his journey of self-awareness and self-expression through his own words. So don't let the name scare you as this particular Adolph is soon to be among those that you hear of on a regular basis, so take note, sit back and enjoy!
