"Adora Eye - When you´re done"

Jimmy Jönsson, live drummer in The Deer Tracks and singer in Red Cell, has a solo project under the name Adora Eye. Welcome, get into a dark obscurity of guitars, pianos and half crying voices. "When You're Done" is a dark folk song which is about unrequited love, an attempt to get two hearts beating together. In the end the hopefulness is replaced with a I-give-up - "let's keep this chaos". Jimmy possesses a powerful, easy shaky and mellow voice. In the song, he is visited by Amanda Hollingby Matsson (Idiot Wind), a lovely Bob Dylan similar girl..

"Unpretentious and beautiful"

"First on stage is Adora Eye, consisting of Jimmy Jönsson and his guitar.
Jimmy Jönsson has a very dramatic and unique voice, which he uses fully when he tells his stories. He mixes delicate melodies in falsetto with deep chanting tones that you can not ward off. It is serious and still feels unpretentious. It's like we get a major confidence when we partake of the reflections that make up the content and the mood of Adora Eye´s lyrics and sounds."

Bio

Adora Eye is Jimmy Skeppstedt. He was born in the darkest of
december, in the cold and gloomy part of sweden that he´s from.
Maybe it´s not that strange that he fancies the chord E-minor a lot.

Influenced by people, cats, streets, old buildings, movies (especially Jim Jarmusch movies)

Adora Eye loves to sing and play his guitar wherever he is.
He sees the guitar and voice as brushes and the listener as a canvas.

Jimmy has a wide and long history in different bands from his hometown Gävle.
(A town that is famous for it´s coffee, candy and a giant goat that stands
in the middle of the town during december every year.)
Jimmy has been touring Scandinavia a lot and released two albums as the singer in his band Red Cell.
And he´s been touring Europe, Usa and Canada as the live-drummer in The Deer Tracks.
He's been on support-act-tours to bands like Depeche Mode, WovenHand and Sisters Of Mercy.

Since 2006, Adora Eye has been a part of Jimmy´s mind.
But there wasn´t enough time to make it grow.
Until 2011 when Jimmy decided to put Adora Eye in the front row of his priorities.
After writing a lot of new songs, he recorded and released the 4-track EP "The Devil And My Black Sunday Bird" in 2012.
Recorded it with Jakob Grundtman, The Tallest Man On Earth´s sound-technician. Guest-vocals from Amanda Bergman (Amason) on two of the songs.

In january 2016, Adora Eye released his debut full-length album "If you need a king, I've been prepared all my life".

Adora Eye has been touring in Germany, Malaysia, China, HongKong, Macau and Vietnam.

Lyrics are often about the dangerous drug called love, and about people in the darker corners of society.

When Adora Eye perform live, it's often more people than just Jimmy on stage.
