Adriane aka AO

I am ~AO~ is who she is...received her first modeling job at the age of five-months old and continues to appear in several fashion ads for major department stores. At the age of 3, she started belting out lyrics at home eventually landing her first gig at a sold out high school basketball tournament at age 6. The duration of the audience's ovation excited a major radio personality that earned ~AO~ an invitation as a guest appearance on his top radio show. This generated several local performances that lasted for the next five years. A brief setback occurred when ~AO~ was hit with early vocal changes that led her back to a full-time athletic career. ~AO~ helped lead her AAU basketball team to a National Championship in addition to being ranked as a National top ten hurdler (track & field) that same year. As ~AO's~ voice heightened, her passion for sports diminished and her heart was set on singing. She quickly left her sports career and a chance to compete in the Jr. Olympics Track & Field for a more focused energy on reaching her dreams as a professional recording artist. Some say that breaking into the music business is a mix of hard work and luck.

This lies true for ~AO's~ experience of being discovered. Before her major breakthrough, ~AO~ spent most of her time writing, taking voice and dance lessons. ~AO~ studied the music business and the work it took to make it in the field. At the age of 14, her parents started a management company called Hadiya Entertainment that promoted ~AO's~ talents to major labels and A&R representatives. To our surprise, ~AO~ and management were blessed with an opportunity to meet with a former R&B recording artist who moved to Seattle from Atlanta by way of her boy friend who played for the Sonics and then was introduced to ~AO~ by a mutual hair stylist (fate). With the help of this former artist, she sent ~AO'S~ demo to Atlanta based producers, The Platinum Brothers (J.Holiday/J.LO). AO's demo sat in their studio for a short while until they brought her to the attention of a well known record label executive who was attracted to AO's photo as it was told, then impressed by her one track demo. Within 24 hours ~AO~ and her management was flown to Atlanta to cut a track and quickly offered a deal that same day.

Anthony "TA" Tate was the CEO of Music Line Group/Capitol Records. Tate is known for his discovery of Ciara and J. Holiday. Within two months, ~AO~ was recording at the famous Tricky Stewart's RED ZONE STUDIOS where hits were made by the Dream/Tricky Stewart for Britney Spears, Rihanna (Umbrella) & many other famous artist. Adriane has been working diligently recording and performing on national levels including the NBA All Star Vegas, the famous Memphis Bluesville, professional sporting events, and other major venues. ~AO~ carries a distinct raspy, silky voice that differentiates her from the rest. ~AO's~ teen appeal, style and grace has given her a diverse fan base. She states, "I am a fan of my fans".

My biggest influences were meeting and being mentored for a day by hit-makers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.They instilled in me that I could do anything and not to change for anyone....sharing with everyone the REAL "me".

The opportunity for AO to be signed by a major record label at an early age was a great accomplishment. Unfortunately, when you are close to reaching your dreams, there are setbacks. There was a hold on her project due to the merging situation with her label and differences of creative direction. AO and her parents decided to sever their ties with Capitol. Most individuals would not fathom leaving a major record label but AO and her parents thought this would be for AO's best interest and it was a test of their faith. With the support of their family, friends, and fans, it sparked AO's inner motivation and zeal to continue to record great music. Adriane believes she was called to this arena...to trigger hearts, motivate hope and joy in people's lives. She states, "GOD will make room for my talent".
