Bio

Adriane Allyn picked up her mother’s Martin guitar when she was twelve years old and soon after began writing songs. Growing up in the Delta she played simply to entertain herself and her family. A lover of poetry, blues, southern rock, and funk, Adriane knew at a young age that singing and songwriting would be her path.

After graduating high school, Adriane spent three years in Nashville attending Belmont University; meeting and writing with musicians from around the nation. She spent time honing her craft in music venues around Nashville from downtown street corners to the infamous Blue Bird Café. She has performed with several bands, most notably a southern rock band known as The Kindred, opening for various acts including Gretchen Wilson.

Adriane’s main motivation has been all about the music. “I never wanted to sell myself out. Although Nashville was a great experience, and I learned so much, I needed to come home to Arkansas to clear my head and rediscover why I’ve wanted to pursue music in the first place.”

While finishing her degree at the University of Central Arkansas and playing solo shows, she met Justin Mizell and Tim Secor, owners of Green Couch Records. Discovering her talent for singing and songwriting, they signed Adriane to her first deal and began recording a twelve-track album called “Moving On” at Solus Studios. Former band mates from Nashville believed in Adriane’s project so much that they relocated to Arkansas to help finalize the album and complete her band. “I have enough fire in me to go after my dream and I’m blessed to have good friends to share it with,” says Adriane.

Adriane’s music is a fusion of rock, pop, jazz, spoken word poetry, and funk with southern rock influences. “There is a little something for everybody during live performances and I’ve always loved putting on a great show.”
