Adrian Martell ' s Prototype

Adrian has always loved music, and started performing in elementary school recitals when he was five years old. His grandmother realized his potential, and helped him with his choreography, stage presence, and vocals for his performances in school talent shows in his hometown of Abilene, Texas.
After several years of continuous stage work in Abilene, Adrian moved to the Austin area in 1999 to continue his music and further his career goals.
Adrian initially tried out for the new show Austin Idol in 2002, and was selected as one of two finalists, from a field of about 50 contestants.
Later in 2002, he braved freezing conditions, slept outside in a sleeping bag, and auditioned for the hit television program American Idol. Three thousand hopefuls from all over Texas tried out for the show that weekend, and Adrian was one of thirty chosen to go to Hollywood!! He was eventually chosen as one of 100 finalists from tens of thousands who tried out from all over the country for Season Two, and can be seen on quite a bit of American Idol’s television footage.
In 2005, Adrian auditioned for the weekly television talent contest, (KVUE in Austin), “Gimme the Mike”. He was chosen as one of the two finalists from a field of several talented contestants!

After American Idol, Adrian auditioned, and was selected in 2006 as one of the lead singers with Sauce the Band, a popular Austin cover band. He continues to sing and perform with Sauce all over Texas and the Southwestern United States. One of Adrian’s immediate career goals is to sing for his first ‘Original Band’ debut at SXSW in Austin, spring of 2012… stating..” I feel that I am now ready to share the songs from within my soul, to Austin and the world abroad..”
