Have you ever felt like the outsider with big dreams? Dreams so big, people tell you they wish it comes true for you, but really think you’re crazy? Meet rap music recording artist Adriano.
He was born Adrian Claver Weekes in the city of Toronto, Canada. Born to parents who were heavy music lovers, Adriano grew to love and learn about music as a whole. From old school R&B, to Funk, Disco, Jazz, and Smooth Jazz, Adriano opened up a place in his heart for good music at a very, very early age. His first taste of rap music came at the age of seven, hearing Roxanne Chante’s ‘Roxanne Roxanne’ for the first time. After that, the train pulled out of the station and couldn’t be stopped. Rap music became his number one love.
He listened and followed up on every artist who was out at the time. Soon enough, just like his father, he started his own personal record collection. As you can imagine, being engulfed in the music only made him eager to try making his own rap tunes. He began to write endlessly, all the way into early manhood where he did make a few rap songs, but with real life starting to set in, he could never give it the sole attention it deserved. Growing up in Scarborough, the eastside of Toronto, notorious for crime and gang activity, Adriano did find himself running with the wrong crowd. He had his share of run- ins with the law, which only made him realize he needed to make some serious choices or things could get worse. Imagine all this while actually having received a full soccer scholarship to a Division 1 university in the United States, of which he completed only three years, due to family matters.
Upon his return home he decided that music is where his heart led him and he must follow through on that dream. He is now ready to embark on that journey as a seasoned writer, producer and performer. Adriano brings a slick rap style over an east coast sound. He has decided to ignore the path of least resistance and go the distance as far as he can doing it himself. Not only is he an intelligent man, he really does make good music. To the world, I want to introduce to you ‘The Man’ , Adriano.
