ADMA - Adriano Marletta

ADMA is the musical project by singer-songwriter Adriano Marletta who has been described as the Italo-Swiss whirlwind with the afro. ADMA is currently working on an Album; working title “By A Whisker” which he is recording and so far producing himself. To take the album production to another level ADMA is looking for record producers interested in collaborating. His demo "CLOUDLESS?" has been described as a '70s collage of sounds and melodies with a chorus you could imagine hearing in somebody's car going on holidays. ADMA is now having gigs again, he just recently had a live performance on italian sky 3channel and has recorded a live performance for Italian national TV RAI, so he is happy to get UK promoters to contact him!
ADMA is an artist who has not been afraid in approaching people with his music. He once sneaked into the Oscars and was able to hand over a demo to Quentin Tarantino. He says: “Once my music is finished I believe I can move mountains with it, I guess that determination and belief was the reason why I managed to sneak into the Oscars, which – belief me - is not an easy thing to do!”
Adriano has moved to London in '98, fresh from his car journey all the way from the German part of Switzerland. “I put everything, my guitar and music paraphernalia in my car and headed strait to London! I formed a band, gigged all over London, did a sound engineering course and now I'm recording my own album!” Adriano records mainly in his home studio in south London, but has also had recording sessions with different musicians in Italy and Switzerland.
ADMA is writing ear-catching melodies with a distinctive tune that will stay with you for some time. “I try to write Songs when I'm inspired, cause I think inspiration is the most important thing in music! Maybe I'm cheesy - I guess it comes from my Italian side, but I don't care - I am honest and it comes from my heart!”
Adriano has mainly been concentrating on finishing his album, which will be finished very soon, but he also has now started to have gigs again! He says: "Hopefully this spring I will finally be able to finish my album, including cover art, Yves!"
The style of music can be described as melodic, souly, funky pop with edges - the influences go from Prince to as far as Ennio Morricone! “I honestly can't just write in one style of music, that would be boring to me - I have an eclectic taste and I'm proud of it!” ADMA is looking for anyone interested to take his music to the next level: Especially producers, managers, record companies and other investors in the music industry.
