Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
I started writing poetry when I was pretty young. At that time, I would write to vent my pre- and teenaged angst and then destroy whatever I had written when the feeling had passed. Now, I write to express what I'm feeling, to work through what I can't otherwise express, and to process what I can't explain.
I write because I can't not write. I love language and all of the amazing things you can do with it. I love how it flows when used properly.
I share what I write because if my words can minister to someone else, I feel I have served an important purpose.
