Bio

Aeneas Koresh has been using his gifts and talents for the Lord since 1995. He is currently a Youth Minister focusing primarily on ministering to children from the local housing communities. His primary mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through his ministry of music.

Known for his testimonies, Koresh’s hit singles “Walk da Talk” and “Lately” are anointed
alternatives to the southern tradition of Holy Hip-Hop. Koresh has performed with Lisa McClendon, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, Platinum Souls, GRITS, Ziklag, Ricky B & 4Given, and Gospel Gangstas, just o name a few. “Sound Doctrine”, Koresh’s sophomore project follows his vision of introducing God’s law to the lawless. This project is complete with guidelines for the Contemporary Christian to live holy. With singles like “Christian Music” and “Simon Says”, Koresh reaches the young and the young at heart. Aeneas Koresh has cemented himself as a premier gospel rap evangelist.

In January 2006, Aeneas Koresh co-founded the Possessing the Land Tour. This program is designed to use non-traditional methods to address a variety of issues prevalent to high school
students. Possessing the Land is an open forum where students are able to express themselves
and promote self-awareness while addressing various developmental skills. During its 2005-2006
program year, PTL impacted over 2200 students in the Greater Birmingham Metropolitan Area dealing with issues concerning peer pressure, self-esteem, goal setting, Alabama High School Graduation Exam, and violence prevention.

In 2001, Koresh birthed Hip-Hop Harvest, a bi-annual gospel celebration in Birmingham, AL.
Harvest was started to fill the void for Christian entertainment in the metropolitan area. The festival has taken on many forms including: Hip-Hop Harvest Katrina Relief and the bi-annual, Hip-Hop Harvest: Christmas. The festival’s goals are to garner donations toward the establishment of computer labs for area community programs and outreach ministries, aide families displaced to Birmingham from New Orleans, and to provide Christmas gifts to children with one or more parents incarcerated. To date, Hip-Hop Harvest has received over $200,000 in monetary donations, computers and computer related equipment and over $5,000 in gifts for our Christmas program.

Aeneas Koresh wants to heal, preach, teach, and deliver. Koresh exposes himself in an attempt to show the world that the very thing that Satan uses against you, God can use to benefit you.
