Bio

Looking for the next Damien Rice!
Well, look no further………

Introducing an Irish singer who writes, plays and produces his own music. An Irish songwriter who writes great radio friendly pop songs in the Lennon McCartney, Counting Crows vein.

Introducing Aengus Devine: The creator of an album reminiscent of the Beatles circa, Rubber Soul, Crowded House’s Neil Finn at his peak and Elvis Costello at his most direct.

“Big Star” is his astounding debut and it’s interwoven with classic pop songs that have a heart. This music is real and may elicit human emotion. So, if you’re sick of the airbrushed, soulless pap music from karaoke singers and tiresome gangsta rappers, and are tired of would-be tortured souls looking in vain for an axe to grind, then Aengus Devine’s debut album, “Big Star” is for you.

His debut single, “Big Star” was playlisted on the majority of Irish radio stations including the national broadcasters, 2FM and Radio One. Aengus’ new single, “Isolation” is set to open his music to a whole new legion of fans and put him centre stage as well as acting as a taster of his forthcoming debut album, “Big Star.”

The soon to be released album, “Big Star” features newly appointed Corrs’ drummer , Jason Duffy and was recorded in Dublin’s Pulse studios, familiar turf to Bon Jovi , the Thrills, Christy Moore, Donovan , New Order, the Corrs and mostly recently, Bryan Adams, who recorded there only some weeks ago.

The management and production team behind Aengus Devine are now actively seeking record labels in various territories to license his debut album, “Big Star.” To enquire further about licensing and/or publishing Aengus Devine’s music, please contact Raphael Records at the following numbers:
