“A Fear of Silence,” is a Sacramento based rock group with more than 15 years of music knowledge and experience. Cortlandt Butler has played guitar in “Tenfold,” “Zero Theory,” and “Kaya.” Sonny Lujan has been the lead vocalist for “Cleanse,” “God Lives Under Water,” and “Zero Theory.” Neal Weber appeared with former band “Neoterra,” and Curtis Conlin played drums for “Gnosis” and “Grave Digging Devil Worshippers.”

“A Fear of Silence,” is currently producing and recording their upcoming album for release in early 2009. Dave Buckner, the former drummer of Papa Roach, is engineering the album.

While performing shows all over California and the surrounding Western states "A Fear of Silence” is creating quite a buzz! With their dynamic sound and passionate lyrics this band is set to make a memorable impression on every pair of listening ears!
