Afortiori

Afortiori is a Columbus, Ohio-based indie rock band who's sound, though influenced by several eclectic bands (Cursive and Manchester Orchestra to name a few), artists and people, has become !00% their own. Starting in 2008, the past year has had them play countless shows with most of Columbus, Ohio's best bands, and even a few national acts. Live shows are always intense and passionate, but somehow accessible, making new fans every time they take the stage. In August 2009, they took up the heavy task of recording a cd, with the idea of putting their raw, unabashed passion to record. That live session (with a few vocal overdubs) is now their self-titled e.p. which, with it's d.i.y. packaging and individualized, hand-drawn artwork, is the culmination of their efforts as a band.
