AFRICAN EMPEROR

The African Life Music and Talent Show is a half hour television series that airs weekly on the free-access cable channels in New York City. The series documents the African immigrants experiences in New York City.

In order to participate in the talent show, all contestants must be continental African or child of one.

The competition was narrowed down to three competitors from Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Ghana with Papa She'ee representing Ghana.

The competing artist statistics on paper was more competitive than in reality.

Papa She'ee's talent demolished his competitors without much contest.

His energetic performance and dance moves outpaced the competition and left everyone in the hall at awe.

From the moment he took the stage, Ghana's boy wonder charmed the audience with his charismatic smile as he begun to sing a number of his hit hip-life songs.

While on stage, Papa She'ee moved all over the stage and at times moved within the audience in a manner that showed confidence and experience in performing before a live audience.

The other competitors were Sembu Sewah from Sierra Leone, and the very beautiful Senora Kme from Nigeria.

Sambu's reggae and African rap music as well as Kme's soulful music style were not good enough to win the evening's contest but they demonstrated the depth of African musical talent. On this occasion, Papa She'ee was extra special.

The Ghana boy wonder was the hands down winner on a night when all the contestants made Africa proud.
