Afrika Sings

AFRIKA Sings was destined to be a performer. The daughter of a concert pianist (mom) and a film director (dad) you can say it was in the genes. She writes, produces, arranges and engineers her own music and gives heartfelt renditions of the many cover tunes she performs with local and international corporate bands. At one moment, you will be swaying to her beautiful angelic voice during a ballad and then the next, sweating on the dance floor to her powerhouse vocals.

Growing up in the ATL, AFRIKA was introduced to music at an early age. Her mother had her involved in reading music and turning pages for her almost as soon as she could walk and talk. As the daughter of a professional musician she quickly learned the importance of discipline and hard work, which was instrumental in developing her voice to its wonderful distinct sound. She later became interested in the studio, and went on to become an accomplished studio and live sound engineer, and is currently one of the only female front of house engineers in the Atlanta area!

Having been blessed to work with and tour with many artists, both in the US and overseas, she is back taking a break from the road to work on her latest album and tour with local and international cover bands. AFRIKA is a beautiful dynamic talent with an undeniable stage show and a work ethic to die for.
