"Rapper A-FS 201-973 Releases Free Album 'Champagne Campaign'"

The New Jersey rapper only known as A-FS 201-973 has released his latest album, "Champagne Campaign (The Workin' Man's Album)," to widespread fan and critical acclaim. To the delight of his fans, who have been following his work for 20 years, the record has been released absolutely free of charge. It is available for download at the music fan's convenience at the sources reprinted below.

"Champagne Campaign" is a solid, heavy-hitting collection of 17 original urban anthems by A-FS 201-973, with high-quality, aggressive melodies, lines, and rhymes, and represents the best work from A-FS to date. His voice is gritty and inimitable, unique, stylish, tough as nails yet poetic and good humored at the same time. As the LP record is entirely free to obtain, to have, and to hear, there remains no reason for the fan of rap and hip hop to miss this excellent work of musical art.

A-FS (whose moniker stands for Alienated From Society) writes lyrics like a street Shakespeare with a fantastic sense of humor. Additionally, he knows what's important in life and does his honest best to rap about topics that matter to today's working man. In this he succeeds tenfold, as well as amuses, entertains, and throws down serious rhythms. In addition to these attributes, "Champagne Campaign (The Workin' Man's Album)" also features the abundant talents of Gisella, Alphonz, Yung Miss, U.G.G., Dirty Twon, and ST the Specialist.

A-FS names as main artistic influences the likes of legends such as DMX, Ja Rule, Big Pun, Fiend, Petey Pablo, and Ransom. Of these, elements of DMX's work appears the most in A-FS's latest record, though the effects of the others are also present. The album is at least partially a nod to A-FS' own time on skid row, which lasted for a literally homeless seven months on the East Coast.

Speaking of the themes of the record, A-FS says, "Struggle means strength! Just when you think life can't get no harder, you will be prepared for when it does get harder!" - http://top40-charts.com/

As a teenager he spent alot of his time on Martin Luther King, Jr. drive a.k.a. Jackson Ave. in the greenville section. As he calls it, he was learning for all the hard lessons that would come up in his life in the future, such as ending up homeless during a cold winter for 7 months.
