After 9 band consists of 5 members. Unlike most bands who represent one style of music, After 9 has created a smooth and unique sound combination of jazz, neo-soul and r&b music. Charlotte, NC is the home of After 9 and is a city with great potential for these genres of music. After 9 has been on the music scene for 2 years playing at jazz festivals, parties, restaurants and clubs. After 9 is currently working on their first recording project consisting of 11 original tunes. Some of After 9 influences include artists: Jill Scott, B.B. King, Joe Sample, Ramsey Lewis, Billie Holiday, Marcus Miller and Dennis Chambers.
