Bio

AFTERLIFE began in the summer of 2002 with two members, Andreas Stavropoulos (Vocals, Guitar) and Robert Farley (Guitars). The two found each other by being the only musicians within an entire high school campus that were into Rock. Andreas and Robert easily developed an amazing chemistry that led to writing songs shortly after their meeting. With ideas piling up the search for a drummer began and ended with the school’s Jazz drummer Kyle Nail.

AFTERLIFE proceeded as a trio for the next year, practicing, playing numerous live shows in small local venues and recording their first 5 song EP in the summer of 2003, with co-producer Lee Wertman providing Bass Guitar. The EP premiered at a show on August 3rd, 2003 at Di Piazza’s in Long Beach.

The band went into the winter of 2003 recording two new songs, “Yesterday’s Witch” and “Lay Down” with new producer Fletcher Alliston and created the Afterlife Official Website (www.afterlife-band.tk). With the members of AFTERLIFE growing musically and Fletcher Alliston adding a new edge to the mixing, AFTERLIFE slowly grew out of its core metal influence to an amazing mix of Grunge, Classic Rock and Hard Rock.

In January the band picked up fourth member Ziggy Signorino (Bass Guitar) to form a full unit. With a 6 month hiatus, in order to prepare Ziggy for a full role in AFTERLIFE, the boys began recording their anticipated second EP entitled “White Walls.” Sticking with Fletcher Alliston as the producer the band churned out 5 new songs and re-recorded 3 old tunes (including “Lay Down” and “Yesterday’s Witch”) and played many live shows including the world famous Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood and opening for Drowning Pool and (Hed) PE at the Key Club also in West Hollywood.

Currently the band has released the “White Walls EP” and is selling it on www.afterlife-band.tk. The year is set to be full of live shows including the House of Blues, Anaheim with George Lynch and Lizzy Borden and promotion with regards to the new EP.
