Bio

A Fall to Rise is a five piece Rock/Metal band from Jacksonville, FL. Their sound, combines intense vocal melodies and harmonies with driving guitar licks all brought together by a thundering rhythm section. Their sound has been classified by some as sleazy made sexy. AFTR readily agrees with this, claiming influences such as Pantera, Guns N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, and Motley Crue just to name a few.

With the release of their debut “66 Miles To Vegas” AFTR have in a few short months already made a significant dent on the Jacksonville and North Florida music scene. AFTR combined has experience that exceeds fifty years of playing and promoting music. With over 100 live shows between the 5 of them you can expect a top notch quality live performance that will be sure to bring down the house and captivate the audience. AFTR has earned slots playing with many national acts from Disturbed and Lacuna Coil on the Music as a Weapon Tour to playing Planetfest and opening for many national acts including, Papa Roach, Chevelle and Framing Hanley. AFTR's fan base and following continues to grow exponentially. AFTR plans to further promote “66 Miles To Vegas” with a full tour in early 2010 including a list of meet and greets by major outlets such as Hot Topic.

“66 Miles To Vegas” thrusts audiences through an adrenaline funhouse of what could easily be mistaken as the sound track for the Seven Deadly sins. From the fan dubbed “stripper love song” entitled “Faded & X-Rated” to the empowering anthem like chorus of “Rise Of The Fallen” telling, “to rise, we must fall”. “66 Miles To Vegas” is a masterful blend of power and aggression captured in the delicate intricacies of well structured melodies and vocal harmonies.
