Rockbandet Against the Day från Malmö är första västereuropeiska band att spela in och ge ut en skiva i Polen – på ett polskt skivbolag. Nyligen kontrakterades man av EMI Music Polska.
Against the Days väg till sitt polska skivkontrakt har gått via en rad lyckade spelningar i bl.a Warszawa, Katowice och Poznan. Det kommande albumet All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go är helt inspelat i Warszawa. I studion har man arbetat med den svensk/polske låtskrivaren och musikproducenten Mark Tysper.
– Vi gillar äventyr och det här projektet har varit ett äventyr ända från första giget i Warszawa till inspelningen av videon till låten Just Another Night i vintras, berättar bandets sångare och gitarrist Patrick Edwards. Det är nu det börjar!
Utöver Patrick Edwards ingår basisten Nikk Lash, gitarristen Pierre O´Dahl och trummisen Sam Nielsen i bandet.

In 2007 Patrick and Nick accidently bumped in to each other at a party in Austria. Sharing the same musical background influenced by bands like Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy they decided to form a band when they got back home to Sweden. About a year after forming Against The Day, the band caught the attention of the Warsaw based Multiplatinum producer Mark Tysper. Patrick who´s parents are polish came up with the idea of recording their debut album "All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go" with Mark in Warsaw. In the fall of 2009 while touring and recording at the same time ATD caught the attention of Grape Town in Poland who decided to release their debut album.
