There's not an abundance of background information on industrial rockers Agent I. Their bio is blank, their members are ambiguously listed as agents X, N, C & J, and they're based out of Washington D.C. Their music, however, is much more revealing.

The Agent I sound is part electro-rock, part alternative rock. It's edgy, industrial, a little impersonal and not unlike Portishead.

Like a magician at a birthday party, "It's a Crime" is instantly engaging, features a dirty-sounding rhythm section, and although it goes on a little longer than perhaps it should, it's a solid track that demonstrates Agent I's aggressive yet melodic capabilities.

"Hollywood Graveyard" was my favorite track. It's the funkiest, falsetto-ist and arrangement-wise it's the most interesting. The pre-chorus also reminds me of "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks, which just brings back all kinds of fun memories, and the lyrics were unique and thoughtful.

I think Agent I has an original sound that people will enjoy, and that could potentially force them out of hiding, should the national spotlight come calling.
