Bio

Sweden's electronic punks Agent Side Grinder is releasing a new single, "Wolf Hour" November 29th. This is the lead-off track from their upcoming album "Hardware", due out early 2012.

"Wolf Hour" is the bandÂ’s first new material since the their much-lauded album "Irish Recording Tape" in 2009, which took them out on three European tours and landed them an opening slot for genre forefathers Suicide.

On this new track the band teams up with Swedish indie icon Henric de la Cour for a blistering, funky piece of industrial-tinged pop. An accompanying video, shot in the old ironworks of Avesta will premiere on www.gaffa.se on the day of the release. The single also includes a grandiose remix by Red Idiot (I'm from Barcelona).

Agent Side Grinder is an electronic quintet from Stockholm that plays a unique mix of synth, industry and pop, inspired by acts like Cabaret Voltaire, Suicide and Joy Division.

In 2008, they released their acclaimed debut album, and late 2009 they released no more than two albums, "Irish Recording Tape" and "The Transatlantic Tape Project". All albums are released on the Dutch label Enfant Terrible.

A concert with Agent Side Grinder includes analogue synthesizers, vintage drum machines, tape loops, wind pedals, effect boxes and a giant amp stack. And most importantly, an intensive and hypnotic musical experience. The singer Kristoffer Grip has been described as an "apocalyptic dandy from 1980:s Manchester".

Agent Side Grinder's groundbreaking albums and powerful live shows has gained them a devoted underground following all over the world.
