Bio
Some days, you can stand in the middle of Brussels’ cobblestoned
Grand Place and if you listen carefully, you can hear the faint echo of music carried
on breezes that have traveled through the far reaches of the European aesthetic. The centuries-old square is a magnet for
people from around the globe, coalescing in anonymous, fleeting moments of
community, only to be flung back out into equally anonymous orbits of
life. Not everyone hears the music. Not everyone leaves.
DAVID
CAGGIARI PALLET hasn’t left. Armed with an acoustic guitar, rousing vocal
prowess and a penchant for gut-wrenching songs ripped straight from the pages
of his life story, David has attracted an array of Brussels talent and magically
woven them into a fertile ensemble of rhythm and melody called AGE OF GIANTS.
The unassuming MARTIN WARD
lends monster, hand-made cajonic intensity and RayBan chill to childhood
accomplice JERRY VAN DEN BRIL’s jazz/rock sensibilities, seamlessly complementing DC’s
neck-bending acoustic accents. CEDRIC RAYMOND
injects this quicksilver brew with low-end dollops of soul, rock and gypsy swing,
with MATTY VAN
tying it all together with percussive ebony/ivory swagger.
Together, this maelstrom of melody feeds your ears with
majestic dark pop that will permeate head, heart and body, leaving you craving the rise of the AGE OF GIANTS.
