She's the rarest of creatures encompassing music that has both mainstream sensibilty and emotional honesty. Originally part of the folk scene in South Florida; the Miami Herald dubbed her a "Local Legend at age 17". After moving to Central Florida in 2003 she has continued to mesmerize audiences. Armed with a rich voice and acoustic structure A Girl Named Chuck has got the melodic ease that few have. "She's a good songwriter. It's a simple descriptor but a difficult achievement. And when things are done well, paradigms don't need to be broken."
As a solo act A Girl Named Chuck has opened up for Melissa Ferrick, Amy Steinberg, Karma and Steph Taylor.
As A band A Girl Named Chuck has taken the stage, multiple times at Hard Rock Live (Universal Orlando), and has also played at the Dolphin Stadium at the Florida Marlins MLB game.
Influences include: Ani Difranco, U2, Concrete Blonde, Melissa Etherdige, K's Choice, and Melissa Ferrrick.
