An intense live show, combined with well produced material and a strong bond amongst the inner circle give Agony of Defeat the unique qualities both casual and die-hard fans alike have come to appreciate. With the primary focus being the musical journey for the listener, A.O.D. thrives on the anticipation of what will happen next, both on the stage and in the studio.
The band is notorious for selling a release from the everyday world and notorious for being able to make a good time contagious. Many who attend an Agony of Defeat show will share their thoughts on how they dont want to go back to work the next day or how they wish A.O.D. was able to play every weekend. There is a level of love fans have for the band that is nothing short of indiscernible and elusive .
Starting out small in the summer of 2006, A.O.D's crew grew into the machine it is today, devouring up the music and capturing the imaginations of all who walk through the door. There are no rules in A.O.D, just rebellion, resilience and reality.
