Agus León

Self-taught singer, guitar player and composer, he started to play guitar at the age of 12. After the versions band JB, which had different styles among its repertory, in 2004 he decides to turn his professional career and compose his own songs. His musical influences go from singer-songwriters such as Joaquin Sabina, Joan Manuel Serrat, Pedro Guerra, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor…; Spanish bands as Alarma, Secretos, Extremoduro, Fito y Fitipaldis…; musicians and guitar players such as Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani…; bands like Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Audioslave… This makes his music hybrid, a fusion of pop, rock, blues, country, folk and latin. It depends on their mood at the time of writing.

Julián Toribio

Guitar player. He studied solmisation, guitar and singing in Real Conservatorio de Madrid. He’s Agus’s friend from childhood, he provides the band with latin passion. He founded JB versions band, of which Agus became a member later. He’s open to all types of music styles and tendences, and his main musical influence is Carlos Santana.

David Hidalgo

Bass player from the Canary Islands. At the age of 8, he played guitar, timple and lute in a folk band in Las Palmas. Then he started to play double-bass and electric bass. He was a founder and member of the famous band Fracaso Skolar, recording two albums for EMI. With this band he toured around Spain, with concerts in the main cities and being part of festivals with Spanish famous bands such as Celtas Cortos, Rebeldes, TamtamGo, Nacho García Vega,… His favourite musicians are Marcus Miller, Tony Levin, Sting, Billy Sheehan…

Quini Mateos

Drums and percussion. Although he is self-taught, he knows solmisation and teaches music. He was founder of JB with Julián and met Agus in his childhood. He loves bossa, reggae, jazz, latin rhythms, blues and rock. His favourite bands are Police, Santana, Stevie Wonder, Jaime Cullum…
