This track was sent to me earlier today by an up-and-coming artist named Ahab who’s hailing out of Dallas, Texas. Ahab remixed Kanye West’s hit song ‘All Of The Lights’ into a SICK dubstep hip hop banger. Dallas producer/DJ Adam Jilek continues to gain popularity within the music community, catching the attention of many all-star producers paving the way for bass music. To promote his debut album, Ahab released a laser bass, glitch hop remix of Cage The Elephant's "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked." The banger refix was followed by a successful MalLabel EP that topped the beatport charts and depicted the true talent of his musical genius. Besides his solo project, Ahab is involved in two other producer groups, Cache Money and Black Market Pharmacy. He has dominated the Texas scene, sharing stages with Trolley Snatcha, Nit Grit, Stephan Jacobs, Fresh2Death, JDevil, Two Fresh, Opiuo and in 2013 plans to make his move on the rest of the country.
