A Hero Underwater (formerly known as Agent 5 Nine) has been a band for 6 years and has rocked fans from Kansas City to Los Angeles to New Orleans and everything in between including a show at the Whisky A-Go-Go. Following the departure of a guitarist the band changed its name to A Hero Underwater and has begun to make plans for tours and a new record. The group brings a high energy rock and punk show with screaming guitars, solid rhythms and melodies, and driving beats that has shared the stage with many local and national acts including but not limited to The F-Ups (Capitol Records), Gym Class Heroes, The AKAs (both from Fueled By Ramen Records), Zolof The Rock and Roll Destroyer (Eyeball Records), April Sixth (Elektra Records), Down To Earth Approach (Vagrant Records), Ever We Fall (Hopeless Records), June (Victory Records), Sunday Driver (Doghouse Records), National Fire Theory (Greystitch Records), and many many more.
