Bio
Combining a unique blend of hard rock and melodic metal with pop sensibility; Chicago based "A Hero Named Hope" are a band on a mission. The music ranges from heavy breakdowns to uplifting choruses and even the occasional dissonant interlude. The lyrics examine relationship dynamics with tounge-in-cheek humor and a sense of irony. Drawing from a strong background in the local and regional scene, AHNH presents a strong and energetic stage show with an accessible and charismatic quality. Looking forward to the rest of 2009, AHNH is looking to broaden their horizons making new friends, play more shows, and record a fall EP. A major milestone was achieved this year when AHNH headlined the historic METRO in Chicago, IL.
AHNH utilizes a 1900's style classic diver as the "Hero", he appears on the myspace.com website, all tshirts, and stage banners. He has a story to tell.
