Bio
We started in the summer of 2011 and we play instrumental songs and compositions. The Brighton music scene is to put it frankly, pretty boring. Most bands are either indie or metal. We tried and failed to put a full lineup together so we said "f**k it" lets be a duo.
We set out to just be as loud and as interesting as we possibly could. We took our time we refined our sound. Our lineup is simply drums, guitar and a laptop. The band name came from an incredible song called Obokuri-Eemui, it's from an anime called Samurai Champloo. The song describes all of the things she is thankful for.
The only thing I can say is that we differ from most. We are fusing doom and ambience. We are influenced by so many movie composers and other instrumental bands. We are influenced by films as well as music. Bands like Mogwai and Neurosis and composers like Steve Reich and Clint Mansel.
