Los Angeles, CA --Aida Rodriguez recently co-starred, wrote and produced her latest movie The Greatest Song which also stars Lamman Rucker (Tyler Perry’s, Why Did I Get Married and Meet the Browns, is a romantic urban comedy surrounded by the cultural conflicts between the African-American and Latino communities. Aside from being a compassionate love story, the film addresses key issues concerning both communities through music. The Greatest Song captivates the best things in life: Love, family and community. The end ties two communities through a great love and a great song! This film will leave the audience with feelings of love, joy and hope for a better tomorrow.

Aida Rodriguez is the face of Comedy that hails from the multi-cultural enclave of Miami, this Puerto Rican/Dominican/Cuban talent single-handedly represents the entire Spanish speaking Caribbean. Wowing audiences on the Hollywood scene with her regular appearances at The Improv, Laugh Factory, Jon Lovitz Comedy Club in Los Angeles, Aida has toured the nation and performed with such heavyweights as Russell Peters, Damon Wayans, Chris Rock, and Paul Rodriguez.

And if writing jokes isnt enough, this infinite threat has taken her pen to the stage with her One Woman Show Digga$, which she co-wrote with Gary Hardwick (Deliver us From Eva, The Brothers), Digga$ has been adapted for the screen. Aida can also be seen in the movies: Images The Greatest Song which she wrote, produced and co-starred in with Lamman Rucker (Why Did I Get Married, Meet The Browns) and in the comedy Bushwacked with Gary Busey and Lee Majors which will be released in the Spring of 2010.

Aida was one of five on an all female USO tour in Korea in 2008 and returned to Japan in summer of 09 to entertain our troops as the only woman. She has been asked back to do her military duty as a joke teller for an encore performance in Korea in the summer 2010. Aida was the only Latina on BETs Comic View: One Mic Stand with Kevin Hart and is the host of Manic Minute Meals: A Bilingual Comedy Cooking Series. Her comedy is a colorful splash in the bland world of affairs, as she is unafraid to tackle all issues from her own battle with Anorexia to the fight against Child Abuse. Aida has performed for everyone from women in prison to members of Senate, shes been known to give you a good roast, in and out of the kitchen!
