Aileeah Colgan will be opening for the Lee Greenwood Concert on Thursday, December 10th. Moving from state to state as a child, Aileeah Colgan discovered early that her roots weren't planted in any one particular place, but in music. As the daughter of a carpenter and preacher, and her mother, a former gospel singer, she found her voice through the music her family would sing together while traveling from church to church. Living throughout the South and Midwest United States, she was inspired by the different genres popular in each region. A passionate songwriter, she loves to create relatable and vivid stories with her music. Aileeah's view of music is that it's not only catchy tunes or enjoyable beats, but it can be a time capsule to your life, lyrics can hold memories and take you back to a moment in time. A fan of all styles of music, she eventually discovered her true sound was in country. Channeling country music's greats; Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Johnny & June Carter Cash, she hopes her music can be the helping hand to encourage someone through a trial or just sassy lyrics to give you a smile.

Lee Greenwood’s Christmas Concert will be in the Peoria Civic Center Theater on Thursday December 10th at 7:30 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and tickets can be purchased through the day of the show. Tickets are $30 and $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to Helping A Hero.

Lee Greenwood is an icon in country music, with more than 30 albums to his credit. With seven #1 singles, 25 additional charted singles and a variety of country music industry awards under his belt, there is no denying his influence. Greenwood’s song “God Bless The USA” has been widely voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America. Lee Greenwood’s Christmas concert can help set the mood for an evening of holiday entertainment that is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. The show includes a decorative holiday set and performances of many classic holiday songs and carols that have become favorites of generations young and old.

Still working on that hot first release.

Aileeah Colgan is the daughter of a Baptist-preaching father and a gospel-singing mother. Born in Missouri; raised in Florida; and currently residing in the cornfields of the Midwest - Aileeah's songwriting tells the stories of love, life, and loss she's experienced along the way.

Aileeah grew up singing in gospel choirs with her siblings and fell in love with the music of classic country artists like Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Johnny Cash.
