Biography

Born in South Africa, 20 year old Aimee Beyers is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Vocal Performance.

Aimee is serious about her music, and has had quite an extensive performing career already, having been featured around the country in many operas, musicals, and dance productions since the age of nine, singing roles such as Guenevere in Camelot, Mae in Street Scene, and Sarah in Guys and Dolls.

As an extremely self motivated person, Aimee records, writes, performs, and produces her music by herself. During college, she made several appearances in local coffee shops and University events, oftentimes moving members of her audience to tears with her more emotional songs. Now that she has recently graduated, she wants to put all of her eggs in one basket, follow her heart, and focus entirely on promoting and perfecting the music that she writes. In her spare time, Aimee sews dresses, teaches classical voice, and studies ballet. Hopefully you enjoy what you hear!!

Lyrics

Tuesday

Written By: Aimee Beyers

My heart is wrenched on a Saturday,
then it bleeds and it bleeds until Monday.
Then I sit up straight against all odds,
I have to pick these pieces, yes pick them up.

And you know, work sucks, you suck, I suck,
I'm always outta luck.

You know that, work sucks, you suck, I suck,
I'm always outta luck.

Because you, you like Ice cream,
when to me, what the hell is Ice cream,
but frozen eggs, frozen milk,
frozen dead, and frozen still.

When me, I like spaggetios,
when to you, what the hell are spaggetios,
but proccessed food, preservatives,
yes poured up tight, then locked in shut...

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

My brain is fried on a Wednesday,
then it's dead, yes it's dead until Friday.
Then I get my heels and I put them on,
'cause I'm going out and I'm going strong.

And you know, life sucks, you suck, I suck,
I'm always outta luck.

You know that, life sucks, you suck, I suck,
I'm always outta luck.

Becuase you, you like her,
and me, well, I can't stand her!

No you, you like her,
and me, well, I can't stand her!

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

Guess I'm a jealous sort of friend...

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

Next Tuesday, next Tuesday, we'll meet on Tuesday.

Guess I'm a jealous sort of friend...
