Aimee Lillienstein

Aimee Lillienstein is currently attending the Ithaca College School of Music pursuing a dual-degree in Violin Performance and Music Education. Aimee is from Huntington, NY and began studying the violin at age 9. Since beginning her studies she has been selected for numerous festivals, such as the Long Island String Festival and All-County Orchestras in Long Island. She has served as a member of the Long Island Youth Orchestra, in residence at the Tilles Center at C.W. Post, for three years, the last of those years she served as the Associate Concertmistress. She was lucky enough to win the annual Concerto Competition offered by her Youth Orchestra and performed the first movement of Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto in 2007. Aimee has had the honor of performing with the Long Island Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall twice, and performing Verdi’s “Requiem” at Avery Fischer Hall in Lincoln Center with the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra and Choral Union in 2008.
