Bio
Inevitably, Canadian singer/songwriter Aimie Page has made her way to Toronto to seriously pursue her musical interests. Ms. Page was born and raised in the Niagara Region where she was involved in performing from a very young age. From the age of 2, Aimie would sing and perform a variety of music covering Motown, blues, soul and country at home, school, sporting events and coffee houses around the Niagara Region. While crafting her vocal skills through training in Classical and Jazz, she has evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and has been heavily influenced by Country, Blues, Gospel, Soul, Latin, and Cajun music and a combination thereof. She has been writing songs for the past ten years and has performed live at numerous venues across southern Ontario and for the past 3 years using Toronto as her home base. As a culmination of her song writing abilities, Aimie has just completed a CD project co-written, arranged and produced with Toronto/Niagara musician and bandmate Steve Doede that displays her versatility and depth as a singer, arranger and instrumentalist in a number of musical genres. Aimie is looking forward to reaching out to her current and future listening audience with this recorded effort as well as looking forward to touring where she will perform the compositions live.
