With deeply passionate and poetic lyrics, Irish rocker girl Aine Duffy presents hard-edged, alternative-laced rock. While the prevailing tone of her mostly memorable songs is moody, and even dark, there’s no pretension evident. Instead, Duffy’s conviction comes through the material .The lyrics are complex and thought provoking enough to take the listener deeper. Though there are hints of Sophie B. Hawkins and Tori Amos, Duffy’s willingness to push boundaries shows she’s clearly speaking for herself. Musicianship: Duffy’s rhythm guitar playing is fine, but her strength is undeniably her voice. Aine has travelled the world buiding and captivating a fan base, she has a huge vocal and irrepressible stage presence.
