Getting off the ground E.P.

This is'nt how the story ends E.P.

In the spring of 2000, Doug Del Gaudio and Stephen Forys formed the group Airdate. Del Gaudio grew up playing in the hard rock scene, but had always been influenced by 80's artists such as Journey, Bon Jovi, and Cheap Trick. When he met local drummer Stephen Forys in 2000, at Center Moriches High School, Forys collaborated with Del Gaudio on several songs. After recording some acoustic demos, producer/engineer Anthony Santonocito encouraged them to push their writing skills further by recording a EP with him at Killingsworth Recording Company. After months of writing and recording, they have grown musically and personally, crafting 6 songs for their debut EP "Problems, Problems". Guest musicians on the record included Chris Chachi Guglielmo of Bayside (Drums).

In the summer of 2006 Airdate acquired bassist, Daniel McCabe who was introduced by a long time friend. McCabe grew up playing in several bands from the Long Island scene. Christopher Loret finally joined the group in the fall of 2006 on guitar. Chris was previously a former member of different projects with Doug and Steve years previous. Chris' energy, dedication, and playing ability proved to be the perfect match to complete the bands line up in 2006.

In the fall of 2006, Airdate began working with former Capitol Records A&R, Loren Israel. Loren is known for his work with such bands as Jimmy Eat World, Sugarcult, Plain White Ts, Less Than Jake, Rock Kills Kid, and many more. Airdate is currently writing and crafting new songs with the help of Loren for a debut album. Stay tuned...
