The quartet Air Strings was formed in the middle of year 2009 in Macedonia.
Air Strings is a quartet with unusual structure which performs arrangements of the popular jazz, pop and rock themes as well as some themes from popular movies and musicales.
The originality of this quartet is in the unusual combination made from soprano saxophone, violin, viola and contrabass as well as the fact that they are not kept on just one musical style.
Beside the unusual mix their originality is backed up with particular new techniques of playing which are unusual for these instruments and they provide a completely new and fresh sound.In that short period, Air Strings have performed on almost every music festival in Macedonia and were invited as guests to couple of festivals in The Netherlands
