Aisles was formed in early 2011 and quickly recorded and released an EP (2012's “Like an Atlas”) and full-length (2013's “True, New, Ordinary”). In the early days, everything was do-it-yourself, and just like now, our songwriting was prolific. 

We used a slew of live shows in 2013 to hone our next batch, and in early 2014 spent some time at Kitchener’s Sound Distillery studio with professionals on the mics.  The end result was 2014's "Distance", a catchy, foot-tapping album that will resonate with fans of groups like Wilco, Elliott Brood, or Ryan Adams.

For the remainder of 2014, we’ll be showcasing “Distance” live, and using the chance to tighten more material. By the fall, we'll be back in the studio recording a mix of catchy alternative tracks and some instrumentally rich rock for our fourth release in 3 years.
