Being influenced by Taiwanese native folk music, Western Pop and Jazz, Aivee Hsu and the Groovy Jazz Band are set for their debut performance at Rendezvous coming this September, 2016.
Led by the talented Aivee Hsu (vocalist / guitarist) who has recently returned to Taipei after attending the highly recognized “Berklee College of Music” in Boston.
Prior to her studies in Boston, her achievements in music started from high-school onwards:
Vocalist national competition FIRST PLACE in 2008
SHU New String Award winner also in 2008
NCU Unplugged Award winner in 2009
Taiwan Government funded project included Aivee’s original music on the album titled: “Singing from the South” released in 2013
Coming up this fall 2016, Aivee’s first original album is to be completed and released.

Bio
Aivee was born and raised in Taiwan. Her early childhood was influenced by Taiwanese native soul music, Western Pop and Jazz music at the same time. She deeply fell in love with the blues after learning how to play guitar. she can charm you with her unique girl-womanly voice. With her eye closing, she plays around Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova and bring you a chill moment like we enjoy the afternoon tea time.
台灣出生、長大的Aivee(徐子珺)自小同時受到台灣靈魂樂、西方流行樂和爵士樂的深刻影響。自接觸吉他後，更深深的愛上了藍調音樂。她獨特的半女孩/半女人唱腔，演繹起我們熟悉的經典歌曲甜而不膩，在自身的創作中展現個性。她閉著眼，遊走玩味著藍調、爵士、波薩諾瓦(Bossa Nova) 樂風，帶給聽眾輕鬆有趣的悠閒下午時光。
