Bio

Ajani Griffith, began lyric writing when he was fifteen. He recalls, "I use to have a couple of notebooks throughout the house, where I use to write lyrics." From there, as he got better in the craft, he sought to become a songwriter-producer, while developing an emphatic lyric style, usually writing about love:

And that's how I fell in love,

With the sparkle in your eyes,

I felt as if I were a rock dove,

Flying drunkenly in the sky....

-So Good Inside

Griffith's writing style encompasses R'nB, soul and some dance type ballads. Nonetheless, for the Miami based songwriter-producer, one of his recent accomplishments was when one of his latest tracks was listed on Al Walser's Weekly Top 20 chart on Addicted to Radio. "It's amazing that something I wrote was broadcasted to fifty different countries. I'm glad, blessed, and there's no need for complaint here," Griffith said.

"The track sounds really good!" Mauricio Gasca stated, who has composed works for Jennifer Lopez and many other prominent stars.

Summertime Historia, went head to head with the likes of up and coming Rita Ora, and Wiz Kalifa on the chart.

"It's a fun track," Gloria Lemmy of G Productions said, and continued to express, "There is certainly a market for it in the compilation world i.e. Buddha Bar, Nikki Beach etc."

Nevertheless, as Summertime Historia continues its rise on the charts, Griffith notes the importance of shopping the single. "I'm an up and coming songwriter, and there's a whole sea of people who just hasn't heard the song. It's a great song, a great song, and I believe I can capture the hearts and souls of people with my work."

Regardless, as he continues to push the project through the market, Griffith continually works on his craft in the creative process, and honing his skill as a professional in music business and management.

"As a songwriter, you always have to be working, and creating; there's the creative side, and a business side, they are both important in building success, " remarks Griffith.
