Bio
Jason Bawden (alias aJay) was born in Griffith N.S.W. in 1976. At age 12 Jason started singing and playing guitar and soon after, began his first attempts at writing. He then established himself as a singer/songwriter all by the age of 17.
Jason moved to Sydney to attend university to study Bachelor of Arts music in 1995 and to try and make a name for himself.
Jason's audience has been growing steadily, especially since becoming the artist "aJay" in 2001 with many describing his style of music as a mixture of Jeff Buckley, Soundgarden, Tea Party and a touch of Silverchair.
