Bio

Winners of 2002 Omer Coleman award for best song, winners of the 2005 Omer Coleman award for best gospel choir, you might ask how this choir came into being? Well, the choir is made up of family members from different denominations and various vocal abilities and callings. We have four ministers and an evangelist in our choir so they keep tuned into God's word.
We were formed by an inspired vision to create a common ground that would draw all our family back to God. We grew up singing God's praises together, but as we got older some went their own way and started singing secular music or joined other gospel groups, etc. This was the draw we needed to remind us of who's we are and who should get the glory from our music, and as the old saying goes "the family that prays together, stays together". We are blessed to have various age groups in the choir because we have mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, neices, nephews as well as spouses singing together. We were originally influenced by quartet singing and as our family grew we began to enjoy the choir sound from choirs such as, New Jersey Mass, Walter Hawkins and Love Alive Choir and Mississippi Mass, etc. Most recently our influence has been Fred Hammond and Radicals for Christ.
We have traveled throughout the midwest and have met beautiful men and women of God along the way.
We have been featured on various Gospel Television shows locally, our 1999 CD won best song of the year from the Omer Coleman Awards in 2002 and in 2005 we were voted "Best Gospel Choir" by the Omer Coleman Awards show
