Our current set list features about 50 songs from the 60s and 70s and 50 from the past few years-- Kind of a Bell-Shaped Curve of Rock and Roll. Obviously, if you need a fix of Whitesnake or Duran Duran, we’re not your band. Why only 10 songs from the 80s? There are plenty of good 80s bands out there and some of them are big fun. We’re not one of those bands, but we’re bigger fun - different than your 80s band and way different than the “classic rock” outfits that don’t keep in touch with what today’s club, college and party crowds want to hear. Also missing from the AKA repertoire is any Disco or Hip-Hop. Every band ought to have a personality. With AKA, that personality comes through with well-played, proven crowd-pleasers; but no Spandex or Big Hair.
