Biography

Producer and Multi-instrumentalist musician, knowledgeable about the traditional Venezuelan music, melomaniac, Latin-American and caribbean music amateur. Creator of the band music Bituaya. Researcher of the caribbean sounds, primary basis for his musical creations in which he reflects a very particular vision, re-discovering sounds that defined an era and that he interprets an recreates, incorporating them to the current music scene.
In his trajectory as a DJ and musician, he has had the opportunity to participate in national and international festivals such as 2014 Caracas Theatre Fest, First Art Digital Meeting (Caracas 2013), Visual Brazil 2013 (Barcelona) He also brought his DJ proposal set to cities such as Asuncion (Paraguay), San Francisco and Oakland (USA), Madrid, Barcelona, Tarragona, Reus, Mallorca, Compostela, Burgos (Spain), Mouscrom (Belgium), Firenze and Capraia (Italy) and Paris (France).
As a music producer, Akilin has had the opportunity to compose and produce the song for The Youth National 2013 Games which took place in Caracas, has also flirt with the musical composition for TV and film, creating music for the short film GALUS GALUS (2013) screened in different international festivals (Cannes 2013, San Diego latin Festival, etc.) and winning a recognitions in the Municipal David Suarez Awards 2013 as Best Music in the National Filmmaking. Akilin is currently working as a compositor and musical programmer in Avila TV.
In 2015, Akilin present his most recent EP titled Electro Parranda which he launched in collaboration with Konn Recordings label. And collaborate with compiled for cd of Casette Blog 5th anniversary, the remixes cd of Magin Diaz y el Sexteto Gamerano (Konn Recordings), and CUMBIA LIBERTAD (Hawaii Bonsai Records), with important producers of tropical bass.
