A King in Wait is a different breed of Hard Rock. Combining
face-melting guitar riffs, rich melodies and explosive drums
with an energy that can get even the most steadfast wallflower moving, the band is a force to be reckoned with. A King in Wait formed in the summer of 2011 when high school friends Tom DeAngeli (Bass) and Kevin Sullivan (Drums) were looking for a new project to collaborate on. Tom had previously played with guitarist Billy Seuss in a band called Halos and Heretics and recommended him as a great fit for the band. After about 5 months of writing, A King in Wait picked up vocalist and piano player George Dipietro. There was an immediate connection and songs seemed to just write themselves, but there was still something missing.... a heavy lead guitar. After a brief search, the band found their “shred machine” in Evan Blake. Now with a full 5 piece band that fuses together Hard Rock and Metal music with clean vocals, A King in Wait is ready to make their mark in the musical world.
