Austin, Texas, home of the influential SXSW — a breeding ground for groundbreaking new talent — is home to buzzing Hip Hop/Soul singer Al Readii. Best characterized as a blend of the iconic R&B group Jodeci and the smooth soothing sounds of The Isley Brothers, albeit with a healthy dash of street-edge sprinkled in, the artist is making noise, and putting on for his city.

"Music is the lifeblood that drives me" Al Readii says. "I eat, sleep, drink, and breathe music — and wouldn't want to do anything else." Al Readii says he started making music in Austin because he noticed something missing from the music scene; a niche he slid right into comfortably.

Influenced by the likes of Marvin Gaye, Isley Brothers, Al Jarreau, and Jodeci, he has recorded one studio album, “Stop Playing Games” — and is currently working on his next release “Baby I'm Readii.”, scheduled to be released this year from Elevated Entertainment ATX.

The first single “Emotions” is [currently 5 weeks] #1 on the Insanely Gifted Radio Top 20 Countdown, and the video is in rotation around the Central Texas area.

With enough he could probably sell a blank disc, and talent to match, the future is blindingly bright for the soulful crooner; he is one to keep on your radar.
