Rod Warner decided to put together a band that blended the music he loved into one act and Alabama Lo-Fi was born. In 2005 ALF was little more than a studio project using various musicians and friends to complete the first release. In 2007 an acoustic band began to take shape and the second CD was released. Today Alabama Lo-Fi is a five piece band with a scorching lead guitarist and a bass player that could be a lead guitarist for most bands. Our influences range from Townes Van Zandt and Johnny Cash to the Drive-By Truckers and Wilco, and our original music shows it.
