aLady is from Cleveland, OH. Home to such acts as Halle Berry, Nine Inch Nails, Bone Thugs and Harmony, The Pretenders, Steve Harvey and many more. Her mother is a jazz singer and vocal coach while her father is a songwriter/poet/guitarist and her mentor in the same package. Following in their footsteps, it was a matter of time be4 aLady would also pursue a music career.
In 1998 aLady (formerly known as 4Bidn) performed on MTV's The Cut with the late Lisa Left Eye Lopes. Winning her first show and advancing to the semi-finals round she became a local celeb. Then doing shows for 100.3 The Beat, Tha Whoridaz, Tha Mexicans, Pete Rock, Faith Evans, Denise Rich, Cassandra Mills Bolton, Ras Kaas, Wu-Tang, The Vision Theatre, World Famous Club Lingerie, World Famous 92.3 The Beat Summer Jam, World Famous Rhino Room, Showtime, Mista Grimm ... just to name a few places aLady has been and rocked it!!
aLady has the look, voice and not to shabby on stage either. aLady will be this years one to watch...
